Global Choice Radar Guides & Explainers

Editorial Policy

Last updated:

Global Choice Radar publishes plain-language guides on everyday wellbeing habits, including movement, skin and hair care, sleep, hydration and nutrition basics. This page explains how the editorial team chooses topics, researches and writes each guide, and keeps it up to date.

1. Our purpose

Our guides explain general, widely accepted information in clear language so readers can make informed everyday choices. They are general information only. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified professional, which is why every guide ends with a note on when to talk to one.

2. How we research and write

Guides are researched and written by the Global Choice Radar editorial team. We base them on:

  • Guidance from public health bodies and authorities, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the NHS, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and MedlinePlus, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and workplace health and safety agencies
  • Peer-reviewed research where it adds useful context, preferring reviews and consensus statements over single studies
  • Public information from established professional bodies, such as dermatology associations

The main sources for each guide are listed at the end of the page. We use cautious language, keep to what these sources support and do not claim that any habit, routine or product will cure, treat or prevent a health condition.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not rate, rank, score or endorse specific products or brands.
  • We do not publish testimonials, user reviews or star ratings.
  • We do not present our guides as written or reviewed by doctors or other credentialed experts.

4. Updates and corrections

Guides are reviewed periodically and when relevant public guidance changes. Each guide shows the date it was last updated. If you spot an error, an unclear explanation or a broken source link, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report, correct factual errors as quickly as we can and update the date on the guide when we do.

5. Independence and funding

Global Choice Radar is an independent publication. The site may earn revenue from advertising and affiliate partnerships, as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our guides do not contain affiliate links, and no advertiser or partner reviews, pays for or influences the content of our guides.
